Day Nineteen

Remember the Alamo! and San Antonio Missions. 

Day Eighteen

A tour of the Big Room at Carlsbad Caverns, where it was a cool 55º, and then a glance at the temperature outside, where it was slightly hotter. 

Day Sixteen

A brief stop at the Hoover Dam (it was 110 degrees around 1 PM--we never set the car clock back) and an evening watching the sun set on the Grand Canyon. 

Our newest addition

We picked up a hitchhiker along the way (I won him in Vegas by throwing a dart at a balloon.) His name is Wallace. For those of you who are big Veronica Mars fans, "Except I want my teddy bear won through some demonstration of ring tossing ability." I should have named him Logan.

Day Fifteen

A quick romp through LA -- the Hollywood Sign, stars--but no celebrities, and sk8rs at Venice Beach. Spock and Kirk are for you, Dad.
